Israeli filmmakers conference that hosted key Israeli and International filmmakers during three days for encounters, panels and discussions.
The guests of honor 2010 Nick Broomfield, one of the most ground breaking documentary makers of his generation who won among other awards the main award in Sundance Festival. His film Kurt & Courtney, which also premiered in Israel, examines the different conspiracy theories related to the suicide of rock star Kurt Cobain in 1994.
Another guest of the event was Italian documentary filmmaker Erik Gandini, who premiered in Israel his new provocative film Videocracy, which deals with the controversial control of Italy's president Silvio Berlusconi of the contents of commercial television in Italy.
Other issues discussed in the panels were turning the internet into a marketing tool for documentary film, the importance of research work in documentary cinema and whether social changes can be made using documentary film.
The relationship between directors and musicians writing soundtracks for documentary films - an artist workshop was held with leading Israeli musicians: Ofir Leibovitch, Yishay Adar and Ori Ofir.
